The Congo Story - Under the microscope Part 1of 2

On this special programme, we are focusing our attention to the heart of Africa — the Democratic Republic of the Congo. 

For nearly three decades, the DRC has been caught in a cycle of war that has claimed millions of lives, displaced entire communities, and shaken the region. This is not a distant story — it’s a crisis with global implications, touching our economies, our security, and our shared humanity.

In this programme we will be examining the beginnings and the progression of this unfortunate war at the heart of Africa.

 

Our guests are Gaetan Mbwete and Ewing Salumu; both have Congolese origins, live in the Netherlands and actively involved and concerned about DRC affairs.
